As principal, it is my pleasure to welcome you on behalf of our students and families, faculty and staff, and parish. I am delighted that you found St. Mary’s and hope that you will be well served by the information provided here.
St. Mary’s, a parish elementary school established in 2002, is a very special place. It is a place where we work to build the kingdom of God, we follow Jesus, and we are moved by the Holy Spirit. It is a place where kindness is key, love is loyal, prayer is perpetual, and respect is rendered.
Our program is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, and our curriculum is mission driven, learner centered, standards based, and measurable. Both our Elementary (K-5) and Middle School (6-8) academic programs are complemented by art, music, physical education, and information technology classes for all students. Our middle school program is rounded out with world language, and students can discover and develop their talents by participating in activities such as student council, school newspaper, chorus, and orchestra. Our extra curricular program includes an extended day program, as well as enrichment programs such as instrumental music lessons, theater, and competitive sports.
In this school, children are loving to learn and learning to grow. Faculty and staff nurture the development, curiosity, confidence, and self esteem of students, while inspiring and challenging them to reach their potential. Parents collaborate in the mutual investment of time and energy toward our goals.
