The Curriculum Overviews are adapted from the Fall River Diocesan Learning Outcomes. They outline the content and skills taught/learned in each discipline and in each grade level. Each school within the Diocese develops a local curriculum based upon these Curriculum Guidelines. St. Mary’s localizes its curriculum with teaching/learning related to the local community and with the resources available within it.

Curriculum Overviews are developed collaboratively by administrators and teachers from throughout the diocese serving on committees formed in each discipline. The Massachusetts State Frameworks are referenced in the development of the Curriculum Overviews (Massachsuetts State Standards are aligned with the Common Core State Standards).
